NBA players — they’re just like us. Miami Heat stars, including LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, scooted to Meatpacking nightclub SL Tuesday night in yellow cabs.
The athletes, who certainly could afford their own drivers, were spotted spilling out of three taxis in front of the club at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Then the teammates, here for a preseason game against the Nets Thursday, went inside for five minutes and greeted DJs Scram Jones and DJ Clue.
Then they piled back into a cab and headed off. “James and Wade squeezed themselves into a Prius with two more players,” a spy said. “It was very funny to watch.”
