The Barbie and Ken of college football are no more.
Katherine Webb and Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron have broken up, according to a Radar Online report.
“Yes [they’ve broken up]. Katherine’s just trying to stay real busy,” Katherine’s mother, Leslie Webb, told the gossip website.
The beautiful brunette’s rise to stardom began during Alabama’s trouncing of Notre Dame in January’s national championship game. ABC/ESPN cameras located her in the crowd and play-by-play man Brent Musburger remarked on her looks.
Since then Webb’s modeling career has taken off and she starred in ABC’s reality show “Splash.”
For her part, Webb says the couple hasn’t split, taking to Twitter to deny the rumors and take a shot at Radar in a tweet that has since been deleted.
