“High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens looks sleek on the red carpet, but isn’t a squeaky-clean star any longer.
She plays a pregnant teen with a drug-addicted mom, played by Rosario Dawson, in the film “Gimme Shelter.”
Hudgens prepped for the role by chopping off her locks and living in a shelter with homeless mothers for weeks.
She and Dawson were feted at Wednesday night’s Cinema Society and Alice + Olivia-sponsored premiere and after-party at Harlow.
