Elijah Wood is going to bat for marijuana aficionados, even though he is not one himself.
Wood reveals in the new issue of High Times that weed is everywhere these days in Hollywood, and he has no problem with it.
“It’s gotten to the point where it just seems a natural part of people’s lives. It’s certainly not taboo; I know a number of people who have medical cards. People feel very free talking about it,” the actor explained.
Sadly, Wood and weed do not mix so well together. “I’m not really much of a pot smoker — it never really sat well with me. … I’ve always wished I could achieve that comfort and tolerance, but I have no tolerance for it whatsoever.”
Wood is currently starring on the very trippy show FX “Wilfred,” about a suicidal man whose best friend is a dog.
