Patrick Schwarzenegger back on the slopes after skiing accident

Patrick Schwarzenegger, the model son of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, has returned to the slopes after a skiing accident this weekend.

The 18-year-old had scared fans on Saturday after posting an image of himself on a gurney to his Twitter account. The photo showed him with a mask and breathing bag, as well as with his head restrained. Another image showed a large gash along Schwarzenegger’s back along with the words “living the hurt lifestyle.” However, the famous son alleviated concern by posting the next day that he had recovered from the accident.

“Appreciate all the messages,” Schwarzenegger wrote yesterday. “I’m actually feeling really good today, and I even went skiing again today.”

He also retweeted a message that read, “Happy to hear @pschwarzenegger is doing fine and back on the slopes #badass.”

Schwarzenegger, who changed his name to Patrick Shriver on Twitter last summer perhaps in response to the news of his father’s affair and love child, no doubt sought to reassure the public that he was fine because, in recent memory, Michael Kennedy, Sonny Bono and Natasha Richardson were all fatally injured in skiing accidents.

Last summer, Schwarzenegger’s younger brother was seriously injured in a boogie-boarding accident, through has since recovered.

Page Six revealed earlier this month that Schwarzenegger’s famous parents had entered couple’s therapy, attempting to save their 25 year marriage.
