While Jennifer Lawrence’s character in “The Hunger Games” is known as “The Girl on Fire,” at last night’s premiere of the film, Lawrence looked more like the Girl in Foil.

Lawrence stunned at last night’s Los Angeles premiere in a golden Prabal Gurung dress that featured cut-out sides and an open back, hugging Lawrence’s curves and ending in a dramatic train. In the gown, Lawrence easily outshone others on the red carpet like Miley Cyrus, who attended to support boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, Lawrence’s co-star in the film.

In her golden gown, Lawrence resembled an Oscar statue, an award for which she was nominated at age 20 for her starring role in “Winter’s Bone.”

Still, Lawrence said she was worried about disappointing fans at “The Hunger Games” premiere, as reports had circulated that she would be engulfed in actual flames on the red carpet.

“Was everybody disappointed that I wasn’t set on fire?” Lawrence said to MTV News. “God, that was a high, high bar to set. ‘Oh, darn it, she didn’t set herself on fire.’ That’s unfair … Why am I constantly disappointing myself when I’m not putting my life in danger? That’s not right.”

“The Hunger Games” is the first in a trilogy of films based on the Suzanne Collins’ novels. The films are hotly anticipated and expected to be as popular as the “Twilight” saga has been in recent years. But Lawrence was not happy to see recent reports that she was in a feud with “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart.

“There was this huge article about a ‘Twilight’ and ‘Hunger Games’ feud, and [Kristen and I have] never met before and never spoken,” Lawrence explained to “Access Hollywood.” “There were all these fake quotes from me that were actually hilarious. Some of them were from my ‘pal’ and ‘sources.’ It was hilarious … Then I was like, ‘Oh my god. If she reads this, she’s going to think – what if she thinks it’s true?’”

Lawrence says that she wrote Stewart an email explaining herself.

“[Kristen] wrote me back, and she was like, ‘It’s fine. Welcome to the world where everything you say gets turned into something,'” Lawrence said.

“The Hunger Games” opens in theaters on March 23.
