Giant’s co-owner Tisch hosts ‘Super’ bash

Giants co-owner Steve Tisch hosted a private Super Bowl dinner at Carbone, where guests including Jon Bon Jovi and Patriots owner Robert Kraft were entertained with a live performance by 75-year-old singer Jay Black.

Black introduced himself by saying, “I want to pause for a moment of silence so those of you under 50 can understand who the f - - k I am.”

He then added that because of his rock-star status, “In the last few years I f - - ked more old Jews than Bernie Madoff.”

The 1960s pop star launched into his hit “This Magic Moment,” grumbling about the sound system.

Those treated to endless food and Black’s amusingly gruff brand of entertainment included Aby Rosen and Samantha Boardman, Alberto Mugrabi, Neil Sroka, Ian Schrager, Jane Rosenthal, Jon and Lizzie Tisch, Claudia Strauss, Julian Schnabel, Keyshawn Johnson, Alain Elkann, Richie and Jane Notar, Sarah Silverman and Victor Cruz.

White-haired Black urged the crowd to show their appreciation: “Can you applaud? ‘Yay, he’s almost dead!’”
