Josh Brolin, Diane Lane divorce after eight-year marriage

Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have called it quits after being married for eight years. This will be the second divorce for both.

“Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage,” reps for the couple told Us Weekly.

Lane, 48, and Brolin, 45, wed in August 2004 and have no children together. They reportedly split a couple of months ago. An insider told the magazine, “It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It’s not ugly, it’s just over.”

The two have recently stepped out solo at various events. Brolin attended the “Gangster Squad” Hollywood premiere by himself a week after his New Year’s Day arrest for public intoxication.

“My wife is home sick,” he told E! News of her absence.

Lane was with her “Nights of Rodanthe” co-star Richard Gere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in early January, where she appeared sans Brolin.

Lane and Brolin have had happier times. In December they stepped out together for the Los Angeles premiere of “The Guilt Trip.” In 2010, Brolin told Us Weekly, “I mean, check her out, man. My relationship with my wife is fantastic.”

Lane was previously married to actor Christopher Lambert and Brolin was married to actress Alice Adair.
