The International Debutante Ball — where Ashley Bush, Anne Eisenhower and Tricia Nixon all made their debuts — saw 47 women from six countries make their bows into society at the Waldorf Astoria. Representing New York on Dec. 29 were Whitney Schott, dressed in Misha Nonoo; Katherine Dinan in Vera Wang; and Michelle
Quick in Casablanca. The evening’s beneficiary was the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club. Among the guests there to congratulate the girls was pop singer Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin — whose great-great-great-aunt Consuelo Vanderbilt, the ninth Duchess of Marlborough, was the ball’s original inspiration.
