Calvin Harris breaking up with Taylor Swift because he’s “intimidated by her success is a bunch of crap,” a source close to the DJ told Page Six.
“She broke up with him this week,” the source said. “She gave a bulls–t excuse about her career. He was ring shopping.”
A friend of Swift’s had told People magazine that Harris was “intimidated” by her success and “would not attend any events where she was being honored.”
But another source told us, “He’s not intimidated. He’s a global success.” The couple dated for 15 months.
Harris tweeted: “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”
Swift’s rep didn’t comment.
