Khloé Kardashian‘s marriage to Lamar Odom was far from the fairytale that played out on reality TV.
“Love is blind,” Kardashian said of her whirlwind romance with the former NBA star during Howard Stern‘s Sirius XM radio show Tuesday. “Lamar was so great at making me feel like I was the only one, I never speculated cheating.”
As it turned out, Odom, 36, had been unfaithful to Kardashian from the moment they said their “I do’s.”
“I found out that he was cheating on me majority of our marriage,” the 31-year-old explained. “He was so good. Nothing was on his cell phones, he had an assistant and they were all on his assistant’s phone, so he was really crafty.”
As speculation began to filter out in the tabloids, Kardashian decided to get to the bottom of things once and for all.
“These rumors kept coming out in the weeklies and as much as I know they’re bull s–t, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Something has to be right,” she said. “But then this girl did an interview and she was so adamant, and I confronted him and he blamed another teammate. This was when he was playing for the Clippers, his last season.”
Though Kardashian has learned from the “humiliating” ordeal, she doesn’t regret her relationship with Odom.
“I wouldn’t change what I did because it was also some of the best times of my life, so for me it wasn’t a mistake. I’d say I needed that experience for me,” Khloé shared. “I know he loves me, I know we loved each other, I don’t question those feelings.”
While Kardashian has moved on to Houston Rockets guard James Harden, she’s still very much involved in Odom’s recovery following his drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in October.
“He’s doing amazing, and I’m so proud of the strength that he has had to fight that battle,” she previously shared.
Odom was released from LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to a live-in rehab facility earlier this month.
