Stephen Colbert pointed out to Richard Gere during a Q&A Saturday that they’ve both been on People’s Sexiest Man Alive list. (Gere on the cover in 1999, and Colbert as a “sexy surprise” in 2006.)
But, “We almost shouldn’t be in the same room together,” Colbert joked at the Montclair Film Festival. “It’s like the president and the vice president. One of us should be in a secure location.”
After Gere gave one typically New Age-y answer, Colbert asked, “Is this ‘The Matrix’? Are you Neo? I know kung fu.”
