Julianne Hough gets wedding gown inspiration at Fashion Week

Newly-engaged Julianne Hough hasn’t yet picked out a wedding gown, but said she was at the Marchesa New York Fashion Week show for inspiration.

Hough, 27, who was engaged to hockey player Brooks Laich in August, told Page Six before Wednesday’s show at the St Regis, “I haven’t thought about a wedding dress at all, but, hey, we are at a Marchesa show.”

Hough was one of a host of stars at the Spring 2016 ready-to-wear show from the high end fashion brand, which also creates wedding collections.

Dancing With The Stars” judge Hough added, “I am actually thinking more about the Emmys [this Sunday], as I don’t have a dress yet. I am a huge fan of Marchesa, it’s daring, it’s graceful, it’s beautiful, it makes me feel like a woman.”

Christina Hendricks, who also arrived dressed head to toe in Marchesa, told us, “I always fantasized about wearing Marchesa and I got to wear it to the Emmys last year which was a thrill. . . It’s a girl’s dream, it’s romantic and it’s a fantasy.”

Hendricks, now appearing in Comedy Central show “Another Period” and starring with Charlize Theron in the movie “Dark Places,” added she hasn’t spoken to her “Mad Men” co-star Jon Hamm since the Sept. 7 announcement of his split with longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt,”I have not, I am sure he’s fine,” she said.

Applauding Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig from the front row were Jennifer Hudson, Bella Thorne, Olivia Holt, Alyssa Milano, AnnaSophia Robb and Bette Midler, who called the show “absolutely ravishing,” adding, “Shoulder blades are the new erotic body part.”
