Manhattan’s society swans gathered at a fashionable spring luncheon to benefit the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell on Thursday.
The Cipriani 42nd Street event, sponsored by debonair designer Dennis Basso and featuring a runway show of his fall 2015 collection, was hosted by the hospital’s CEO, Dr. Laura Forese, and obstetrician-in-chief, Dr. Frank Chervenak.
Also at the lunch, which raised $450,000 for the construction of a new women’s hospital, were Jamie Tisch and Nicky Hilton, both wearing Basso creations, co-chair Serena Boardman, Christine Schwarzman, Renee Rockefeller, Nina Garcia, Tamara Mellon and Vera Wang.
