Marc Jacobs gave his Instagram followers a tip Monday night: Always check twice before posting to social media.
The 52-year-old accidentally shared a racy photo of his bare bits and pieces to his 191,000 followers with the caption, “It’s yours to try!”
The nude selfie, which appears to be taken in a closet mirror, was able to score eight likes — and a few screen grabs — before the designer quickly deleted it.
Taking the mishap in stride, Jacobs later posted a photo of Sofia Coppola from his fall/winter 2015 campaign, writing: “The next photo I am ‘leaking’ is (along with [Cher’s] portrait) one of my very favorites.”
Jacobs also changed his Twitter and Instagram bios to the phrase, “It’s yours to try,” in an attempt to take ownership of his mistake.
