Bruce Jenner ‘needs’ dental reassignment surgery

Bruce Jenner, in transitioning into a woman, has shaved down his Adam’s apple and gotten breast implants, but he has neglected his teeth.

Dr. Gerry Curatola, the Park Avenue cosmetic dentist, said the two genders are as dissimilar in their smiles as they are below the belt.

“There are anatomical differences between masculine and feminine teeth,” said Curatola, who has been transforming smiles for three decades.

Women have smaller, softer appearing incisors and less pointy canines, Curatola told me. “Men have bigger, square teeth.”

“I often have female patients come in with masculine teeth, and male patients who have feminine teeth,” Curatola said. “I do dental reassignment without the surgery.”

Jenner, when last seen talking to Diane Sawyer, had his Wheaties-eating decathlete chompers.

The dentist is surprised Jenner doesn’t yet have a “feminized smile”: “The smile is such an important part of self-image.”

Dr. Curatola said he could feminize Jenner’s teeth in as little as 15 minutes with enameloplasty or veneers.

Jenner’s publicist Alan Nierob told me, “No idea what his plans are for his teeth. Thanks for the advice, though.”
