Sue Simmons — the beloved, quirky WNBC anchor who was unceremoniously axed in 2012 — had a reunion with her longtime on-air partner, Chuck Scarborough, this week.
The pair — known as “Chuck and Sue” for their 32 years together — were seen at Fresco by Scotto, sitting next to each other with veteran reporters Magee Hickey and Gabe Pressman as well as producers and crew from their WNBC newscast “all at one big table.”
“Chuck and Sue were sitting next to each other like old friends and hugging each other,” a spy said.
Simmons famously yelled, “What the f - - k are you doing?!” at Scarborough on air in 2008 because she felt he wasn’t paying attention during the telecast.
