Diamonds are a truly a girl’s best friend, just ask Avril Lavigne.
The 29-year-old “Hello Kitty” singer received a whopping 17-carat emerald cut ring from her husband Chad Kroeger for their first wedding anniversary Wednesday.
“I still can’t believe my 1year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby,” Lavigne wrote on Twitter.
The enormous sparkler is actually bigger than the 14-carat engagement ring Kroeger, 39, used to pop the question.
There’s no word on what Lavigne gifted the Nickelback singer.
