Maybe Madonna wouldn’t have spoken so lovingly about Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Music Awards if she’d known how Jacko felt about her. On a videotape recorded nine years ago, the King of Pop was asked by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, “Is there a lot of jealousy in your profession?” “Absolutely,” Jackson answers, “and ‘M’ is one of them. Madonna.” Boteach shared his tapes with NBC’s “Dateline” and “Today” during segments airing today and Tuesday. The superstar also believed he had power from God to heal sick kids. “I’ve seen children just shower all over me with love,” Jackson said. “They want to just touch me and hug me and completely just hold on and cry and not let go . . . and mothers pick their babies and put them into my arms — ‘Touch my baby, and hold them, touch my baby, touch my baby.’ “
