All eyes will be on the box next to the Yankee dugout at tomorrow’s first game in the ALC series against the California Angels. Almost as exciting as the contest on the field is the competition between Mayor Bloomberg and former mayor Rudy Giuliani for front-row supremacy. We reported on Sunday how Giuliani and his wife, Judith, were moved at the first playoff game last week from their seats behind the dugout to the primo front-row location after complaining to Yankee management. On Friday, the Giulianis were right by the dugout again, while Bloomberg had to settle for seats a few rows back. “The mayor sits in the same seats at every game. Those are his seats,” a Bloomberg insider claims. Giuliani also has his own seats nearby, but he apparently prefers the Steinbrenner family box. “Rudy doesn’t care. He just wants to see the ballgame,” said another source. “But Judith likes to be seen.”
