Here come the judges. Cynthia Rowley has been one on “Project Runway” and “America’s Next Top Model.” Her husband, Bill Powers, co-owner of The Half Gallery, is now a judge on “Work of Art,” which debuts on Bravo on Wednesday. Fourteen aspiring artists compete for a museum show and a cash prize. At the show’s launch at Rowley’s Bleecker Street store, she joked, “We like to tease our kids. We tell them that if they misbehave, then we will vote them out of the house.” The other judges are art critic Jerry Saltz and gallery owner Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn. Auctioneer Simon de Pury mentors the artists.
