Food Network star Paula Deen was robbed of more than $10,000 in jewelry and other belongings by her housekeeper, entertainment website TMZ reported Monday.
A police report filed by Deen’s husband Michael Groover claims Mary Alice White stole the items between August, 2009, and May, 2010. Groover said that when he found some of the missing jewelry in White’s possession, he and Deen fired her.
White was arrested on May 5 and was arraigned on charges of felony theft, TMZ reported.
