Controversy seems to follow this family around.
Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael’s new nightclub, named “Controversy,” is under investigation by the police even before it opens, TMZ reported Thursday.
Lohan, who is a partner in the Long Island, N.Y. venture, reportedly raised red flags because his felon status prohibits him from being on the liquor license. He was charged with a DUI in 2005.
A zoning problem may still prevent it from opening, TMZ said.
Earlier this week Lohan said the nightclub will offer a driving service for customers too intoxicated to drive home and “screen for drugs” at the door. Lindsay Lohan is currently wearing a court-ordered alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet.
The older Lohan said he wants his 22-year-old son Michael to help manage the club, and said it could “become a family enterprise.”
