Chris Tucker will accept Michael Jackson’s award on behalf of his family tonight at the Apollo Theater’s annual spring benefit concert. The actor, who appeared in Jackson’s 2001 “You Rock My World” video, was close friends with him, and while he didn’t talk at his memorial, he’s expected to make a speech tonight. This year’s honorees include Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Jamie Foxx will host the event, which includes a tribute to Jackson. Danny Glover and Angela Bassett will be presenters, and there will be performances by Estelle, Sharon Jones and Donnie McClurkin.
