Kate White is the next editor-in-chief crossing over into television. The Cosmopolitan boss will appear in an ABC movie, “Beauty and the Briefcase,” along with Hilary Duff playing a freelance writer who lands her dream assignment with Cosmo. While White makes a cameo, the editor-in-chief character will be played by “My Name Is Earl” actress Jaime Pressly. The movie also features the shiny Hearst Tower in a scene where Duff takes a spill on the sidewalk out front.
