East Hampton’s Lily Pond losing its lease

There’s blood in the water at East Hampton club Lily Pond. Nightlife impresario Michael Satsky, who’s operated Lily Pond the past two summers, is being ousted by his landlord, Frank Cilione, even though Satsky’s three-year lease isn’t over until Sept. 7. Satsky claims in court papers he’s a victim of his own success and that Cilione wants him out because he got a more lucrative offer from another operator. Sasky claims he’s already spent heavily for the summer season — he erected an enormous billboard on Hudson Street advertising the club, landed a sponsorship deal with Grey Goose Vodka, hired over 50 employees and booked DJs and celebrity appearances. Yesterday, a judge issued a temporary restraining order. The sides are due back in court April 12. Satsky’s lawyer, Bruce Bronster, said, “We look forward to our best summer ever.” Cilione did not return calls.
