It’s good to be Tom Brady. Not only is the Patriots quarterback married to Gisele Bundchen and one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. He also gets free cars. The Audi sedan he crashed last week was the third one he’d been given in the past three years for promoting Best Buddies, which helps disabled people. The charity’s founder, Anthony Kennedy Shriver, also gets a new Audi every year. The Boston Herald reports the Patriots offensive linemen were also provided Audis in 2008. A statement from the charity quoted Brady as saying of his teammates: “There’s no better way to thank them for attending the Best Buddies Challenge, Hyannis Port and for keeping me safe all year, than by giving them the safety, performance and luxury of the Audi Q7 SUV.” As they say, charity begins at home — or on the road.
