Kat Von D and Jesse James are engaged — again — after calling off their nuptials in July.
The couple’s announcement follows TLC’s decision today to cancel Kat’s reality show, “LA Ink.”
“TLC has decided that the current season of ‘LA Ink’ will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,” TLC told RadarOnline.com in a statement.
Kat, however, is singing a different tune, as she posted on her Twitter: “I love how me deciding to not continue doing ‘LA Ink,’ turns into being “cancelled.” Thanks @TLC. Regardless of everything I remain grateful.”
Kat had complaints that the editing of the show depicted her relationship with James in a way that attempted to “compromise the honesty” of the original footage.
James then this afternoon dropped a bombshell when he told People that he and Kat were again engaged.
“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life It was up to me to open my eyes and see it,” he said. “That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”
The two first announced their engagement in January, but Kat tweeted it had been called off in July. If they make it to the alter this time, it would be the second marriage for Kat and the fourth for James.
