“Sex and the City” fans rejoice.
There is no news on filming and there is no news on cast, but Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed that a storyline for a third movie in the wildly popular franchise does indeed exist.
Parker told Parade about the possibility of a third film: “There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?”
Rumors have been swirling for some time with talks of a film prequel starring Blake Lively and Elizabeth Olsen (which was denied) and the possibility of a CW show. Similar rumors were also floated around prior to filming of the second film.
Parker appears to be on board, so now the ball seems to be in the court of stars Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis.
