Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have barely spent any time alone together since their wedding on Aug. 20.
After their honeymoon, they arrived in New York to film “Kourtney & Kim take New York” on Aug. 29, settling into a penthouse at the Gansevoort Park Avenue South. But they immediately started filming with cameras trailing them and at their hotel around the clock.
The signs of marriage troubles were perhaps already there when Colin Cowie and Jason Binn hosted a “Welcome To New York” party at Capitale on Aug. 30, where one witness said, “Kris Humphries looked visibly uncomfortable with all the attention.”
Kardashian jetted to Dubai on Oct. 11 with her mom Kris Jenner to film for the show, but didn’t take Humphries.
Then when she returned, she headed for dinner at Baraonda on Oct. 16, again with Jenner, but didn’t seem in a rush to get back to see her husband.
On Oct. 18, Kardashian attended Denise Rich’s Angel Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street with friend La La Anthony, but didn’t bring her husband, even though she made a touching speech about having lost her father Robert to cancer.
They even spent the day of Kardashian’s birthday, Oct. 21, apart. Humphries was spotted getting a pedicure while Kardashian headed to the Natural History Museum with sister Kourtney and baby Mason. But they later shared a dinner at The Darby with her sister Kourtney and Scott Disick where they “kissed in front of the crowd” as if to make a point that their marriage was still somehow intact.
But by last weekend, Humphries had packed his bags and headed back to his family and friends in Minnesota. Sources tell us it was hoped he would attend her Halloween party at Lavo Saturday night, but Kardashian came alone, hanging out with friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, where spies said “she looked miserable.”
But there have also been some strong rumors that seemed to have spelled out further trouble in their marriage. While Kardashian was in Dubai, Humphries was reportedly seen out in New York, partying at 1Oak “with a mystery blonde.”
And then last week it was revealed that before she married Humphries , Kardashian had shopped round for a basketball playing husband.Her aides had reached out to former Knick Danilo Gallinari first, according to reports.
