Katy Perry and Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd followed up what Ackroyd described as the “best weekend ever” with an evening out at the Chateau Marmont last night.
New couple Perry and Ackroyd were spotted having dinner on the hotel’s back patio, along with Perry’s best friend Shannon Woodward, her stylist Johnny Wujek and jewelry designer Markus Molinari. Witnesses tell the Web site Just Jared that Perry kept her arm around rocker Ackroyd and that the two looked “really happy with each other.”

“They both had smiles on their faces and held hands on the way out,” the source furthered.
While Perry and Ackroyd were spotted holding hands during the first weekend of Coachella earlier this month, the two turned up the heat last weekend during the second installment of the music and arts festival in Indio, Calif. The two couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they stood outside a local diner. As they took in a performance at the festival, Perry leaned back against Ackroyd’s chest as he wrapped his arms around her waist. The two even were snapped kissing, Ackroyd’s hand traveling toward Perry’s posterior.
Ackroyd tweeted after the festival, “Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP.”‘
Ackroyd appears to be Perry’s rebound to her rebound.
After husband Russell Brand filed for divorce from the”Teenage Dream” singer on Dec. 30, Perry was linked to male model Baptiste Giabiconi in March. Sources told Page Six that the French face of Chanel was even considering a move from Paris to Los Angeles to be closer to the woman with whom he was “smitten.”
