Beyoncé Knowles has been dubbed the World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine.
“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” say the new mom, whose baby Blue Ivy Carter was born on January 7. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth … The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy. The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.”

Beyoncé posed for People’s cover wearing a gauzy white dress, which appears a touch bridal, paired with loads of turquoise jewelry. Her blonde hair has been twisted into a loose updo. While Beyoncé is reported to be back to her pre-pregnancy weight, and while she didn’t shy away from showing off her post-pregnancy figure while vacationing in St. Barts earlier this month, the star is only photographed from the chest up.
Beyoncé may have received the platitude of most beautiful, but Knowles says that there is someone who is more aesthetically pleasing than herself — baby Blue Ivy.
“She’s just the cutest thing,” gushed Beyoncé.
When asked who her daughter resembles more — herself or her husband Jay-Z — Beyoncé said, “She looks like Blue. She’s her own person.”
While Beyoncé has been spotted most frequently in recent months taking her daughter for walks in the park, the singer will get back to work soon. She will be playing her first post-baby concert at the Revel Atlantic City over Memorial Day weekend.
