LOS ANGELES — Kris Humphries is demanding to know if his estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s latest romance with Kanye West is a publicity stunt, as part of his divorce case, RadarOnline reported Wednesday.
The NBA star’s lawyers want to quiz Kardashian about her new love interest as part of the upcoming divorce trial Humphries is pushing for.
“The crux of Kris’ case for annulment is that Kim married him under fraudulent pretenses and did it for her reality show,” a source told the gossip site. “Team Humphries wants to know if producers of the Kardashian reality shows were in contact with Kanye West prior to the new couple dating or going public with their relationship and what those conversations consisted of.”
The source added, “When did Kim develop romantic feelings for Kanye — and why, after publicly stating she wouldn’t feature any future romantic relationships on her reality shows, did she do a complete 360?”
Kardashian, 31, and Humphries, 27, married Aug. 20 in a lavish ceremony that was broadcast on cable network E! and attracted more than 10 million viewers.
The reality TV star announced she was filing for divorce less than three months later, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Humphries is seeking an annulment to the marriage instead of a divorce.
