William Shatner planted a kiss on Maria Menounos yesterday, perhaps inspired by the “Extra” star’s kiss with Derek Hough on “Dancing with the Stars” last week.
As Shatner filmed an “Extra” segment yesterday at The Grove in Los Angeles, he asked Menounos for a dance, showing off his moves and leading her through several dance steps.
As 81-year-old Shatner finished twirling the 33-year-old, the former “Star Trek” actor pulled her in for a smooch.

Menounos did not appear angered by the move, however, laughing hysterically with the actor afterward. She wore a white tank top and black jeans that showed off her trim body, in great shape thanks to weeks of dance rehearsals for “Dancing with the Stars.”
Actor David James Elliot of the TV show “GCB” also stopped by for an “Extra” interview yesterday, and similarly got handsy with Menounos. At one point during their conversation, he put the beautiful TV presenter in a choke hold.
