Former Miss New Hampshire charged with assault

Nicole Houde, crowned Miss New Hampshire USA in 2010, has been charged with assault.

Houde, 26, who competed in Donald Trump’s Miss USA 2010 pageant, stands accused of punching, kicking, scratching and biting boyfriend Scott Nickerson during an argument that turned physical last Wednesday.

EX-MISS USA REACHES PLEA DEAL IN DUI CASE

CBS Boston reports that the fight began when Nickerson accused Houde of cheating on him, and picked up her cell phone, threatening to look through it for proof. Houde then reportedly attacked him. Houde was arrested soon after.

Houde’s mug shot shows the former beauty queen – who’s been working as a makeup artist, personal trainer and pageant consultant since giving up her crown — with loads of black eyeliner and extremely puffy eyes. It’s the polar opposite of the way the pageant queen appeared in her official Miss USA portrait, where she was pictured in lingerie.

Houde is just the most recent Miss USA 2010 contestant to get in trouble with the law. Rima Fakih, who beat out Houde and became Miss USA in 2010, plead no contest to driving while visibly impaired earlier this month.

“You have to pay the price for making mistakes,” said Fakih after the trial. “But you move on and make sure you learn from those mistakes.”
