As John Edwards’ trial over campaign finance violations rages on, “American Psycho” author Bret Easton Ellis dropped a bomb of his own. “Somewhere in the late 1980s I almost found myself in a coked-up threesome with Rielle Hunter in my condo on 13th Street in New York,” he tweeted about Edwards’ mistress. But who was the third person? In a bizarre twist, ’80s film icon Molly Ringwald then weighed in, tweeting at Ellis, “I think I know who the 3rd was.” A rep for Hunter couldn’t resist citing an Ellis novel in telling us, “There is a less-than-zero chance that this ever happened.” Hunter was then Lisa Jo Druck: She invented her current handle in 1993 because, “It was a better stage name.”
