Although much of Rihanna’s tearful sit down with Oprah Winfrey was leaked last week, Sunday night’s broadcast of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” revealed that the singer is still very much reeling from her turbulent relationship with Chris Brown.
She confessed to Oprah, “I still love him.”
Rihanna revisited the night in 2009 when Brown left her bruised and bloody, saying “it was embarrassing, humiliating, hurtful.”
Oprah asked point blank if rumors of their rekindled relationship was true. Rihanna explained she’s just friends with the R&B singer, and that she is currently single.
“We’re very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that’s it. We love each other and we probably always will.”
However, she admitted, “I think he was the love of my life.”
