Britney Spears new ‘Queen of Mean’

Simon Cowell was right when he called his new “X Factor” judge Britney Spears “surprisingly mean” — BritBrit’s got bite.

The pop princess made her debut on last night’s judges’ panel denying hopefuls left and right.

“I thought it was just kind of bad,” she told fitness instructor Amy Gibson.

“The singing came in, and it wasn’t very nice,” she told 21-year-old student Josh McCoy.

After slamming a another hopeful with: “I felt like I was listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks,” she followed with a dubious “I think you’re like Vanilla Ice meets Lauryn Hill meets ‘West Side Story.’”

The pop star was notably tough when she said no to a 32-year-old who recorded a duet with Spears. “Maybe you’ve gone through a lot of hardships and battles, but your voice isn’t up to the bar of ‘The X Factor.’” Ouch!

One of her best sharp tongued comments of the night had to be “I wanna know who let you onstage. I feel uncomfortable with you even staring at me.” Mr. Nasty himself even seemed taken aback when he added, “And everybody thinks I’m the mean one.”

The “Toxic” singer is not all sass though. Spears approved 21-year-old Paige Thomas though with a short and sweet “Holy cow, yes” and called other contestants “bright and beautiful”, “utterly adorable” and “absolutely incredible.”
