Joanna Coles has made her first moves as editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, we’re told, by tapping Marie Claire executive editor Joyce Chang and entertainment editor Dana Stern to join her at Cosmo. Both editors will start about Oct. 1. Stern has booked celebs for Marie Claire this year including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba. Cosmo announced this month that former Marie Claire editor Coles would be taking over the magazine from Kate White who held the top editorial position for 14 years. Coles was spotted at Calvin Klein’s dinner Thursday at the Beatrice Inn schmoozing with women’s creative director Francisco Costa and Vanity Fair’s Michael Carl.
