Troubled actress Amanda Bynes needs to show up in court on Friday, or she may face going to jail. The former Nickelodeon star, now 26, has a hearing about her DUI and hit-and-run charges and to address her bail. Judge Marsha Revel had said during a hearing earlier this month that while she has not ordered Bynes to be at the hearing, “It would seem like Ms. Bynes would need to be here in court on that day.” We’re told that rumors Bynes was checking into rehab are false, but there are concerns about her state of mind. A source tells us, “She really needs a mental health evaluation. Her family and her legal team are extremely worried.” We’re told Bynes, “does not appear to grasp the seriousness of the charges she is facing. She doesn’t even want to go to court.” The actress was charged by the LA city attorney with two hit-and-run charges and was arrested on April 6 for a DUI after allegedly sideswiping a police car. She was pulled over and cited once again for driving on a suspended license in Burbank on Sunday, which resulted in her car being impounded. Her attorney couldn’t be reached.
