David Beckham shot down rumors that he used a body double in his overtly gratuitous underwear commercial for H&M.
Some in the bloggersphere speculated it wasn’t actually the soccer stud’s own goods whenever the camera shot footage below the waist.
Now, Becks has set the record straight about the Guy Ritchie-directed short film.
“I can say the crotch is mine and the backside is mine as well,” he said during an interview on French TV (via GossipCop).
And just for good measure, he added, “Someone said that I had a stand-in for my bum, but no, I can confirm that’s my bum.”
He also said in a H&M Twitter chat that he performed many of his own stunts. “Hi @lizwren yes I did pretty much all my own stunts, was good fun //Beckham”
