Despite the constant rumors, Jennifer Lawrence insists she’s strictly friends with her “Silver Linings Playbook” co-star Bradley Cooper – and has even been setting him up with her friends.
The 22-year-old Oscar winner said she’s been helping the handsome actor out in the dating department. (Cooper split with actress Zoe Saldana in December.)
“I feel like all I’ve been doing lately is setting him up,” the beauty said to MTV News. “I was like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna save time and just get you a booklet with pictures of my friends. You just go through and pick them out, because this is getting exhausting.'”
The “Hunger Games” star, who ended her relationship with her “X-Men: First Class co-star Nicholas Hoult last month, even explained the origin of the romance rumors with Cooper.
“My publicist told me that a magazine was going to say I was having a thing with either [“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”] Sam Claflin or Bradley Cooper, and I got to choose,” she said. “And I chose Bradley Cooper because I love Sam’s fiancée [actress Laura Haddock] so much. Sam is so sweet. So sweet that he’s almost not hot anymore.”
Still high from her big Oscar victory, Lawrence was recently seen winding down at a Hawaiian resort, enjoying a bottle of wine and a mysterious smoke. She’s on the island to film a sequel to the “Hunger Games.”
