Johnson heiress reconciles with ex

There’ll be no more tears in this billionaire baby battle. Johnson’s Baby Shampoo heiress Libet Johnson has reconciled with ex-boyfriend and diet guru Dr. Lionel Bissoon, reports The Post’s Julia Marsh. The couple fought a wrenching, six-year custody war over the child, William, now 9, whom Johnson found in Cambodia when he was 6 months old and brought back to the US with a humanitarian visa. In 2010, the New York State Court of Appeals said Bissoon was the legal dad after Johnson tried to formally adopt William without telling the former flame. But The Post has learned that a Manhattan Surrogate’s Court judge in July granted Johnson permission to become the legal adoptive mother of the child following a co-parenting agreement she made with Bissoon in 2011. “The parties now wish to put the litigation between them over the past years behind them, to heal the wounds caused by that litigation,” the parenting agreement, filed in court papers states. Judge Kristin Booth Glen allowed that Johnson’s vast fortune was a factor in her decision. “Adoption will offer such a child numerous economic benefits, including significant right of financial support from both of his parents,” Glen wrote. Bissoon was repped in the case by noted family attorney Bonnie Rabin.
