Cat scratch fever at ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ show

Fur’s flying backstage at “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” We hear Vito Vincent, the orange cat who stars in the Broadway show, is now negotiating (through his owner) with producers to get a car and driver each night. Meanwhile his understudy, Montie, has been sacked for being “unruly,” a spy says: “Poor Montie’s been dismissed, and they’re scrambling to have his head shot and bio replaced in the Playbill.” Another kitty, Moo, is taking over, we hear. Vito, that furry diva, will be at tonight’s starry opening bash. A show rep said, “We will not comment on specific requests, [but] the producers have made every effort to treat Vito like the star that he is. The production is saddened by Montie’s dismissal and wishes him well.”
