Ray J denies diss to Kim K: ‘It’s just a song’

Ray J is denying his obvious diss to his ample-reared ex, Kim Kardashian.

As Kim-watchers await his new single “I Hit It First” that drops Tuesday, the singer says that the track – that reminds the world how Kardashian became famous as his sex tape co-star – is merely a song.

“It’s just a record, it’s putting a hundred on fifty,” the singer said in a radio interview with Hot 97. “It’s about the concept, you know what I’m saying. It’s a great beat. They just gotta keep it on the surface. I’m not trying to create a war, it’s all love; we’re doing music.”

Ray J continued about how the attention is getting of proportion.

“I think people are digging into it way too deep,” he said. “Like, it’s a song, we just having fun. We not on that situation … It’s not a diss.”

Sure. While he never mentions Kardashian by name, we’ll let the lyrics, released today on TMZ, speak for itself:

“She might move on to rappers and ballplayers/But we all know I hit it first”

“I had her head going North and her ass going South/But now baby chose to go West” (as in Kanye West)
