Ted Kennedy Jr. attends David Nasaw’s book party

Ted Kennedy Jr. was spotted arriving in a vintage blue-and-white Bonneville convertible Wednesday night for a Hyannis , Mass., book party celebrating the publication of author David Nasaw’s “The Patriarch: The Remarkable Life and Turbulent Times of Joseph P. Kennedy.” Nasaw spoke at the fete at the JFK Hyannis Museum, which also drew about 50 guests, and revealed that while researching the book, a spy said, “There was never any proof that [Joseph Kennedy] started and made his fortune as a bootlegger. This was pure myth started by people who didn’t like him. Nasaw looked under every stone and never found that it was true.” When Kennedy Jr.’s wife Kiki told the event’s moderator that the couple’s daughter Kiley couldn’t attend because, “She went sailing today, but she was sea sick after,” the moderator cracked, “I thought that was genetically impossible for a Kennedy.”
