New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has apologized for showing his tight abs in suggestive photos with a porn star.

On a trip to Arizona to visit friends, Gronkowski met up with BiBi Jones, the star of such movies as “Naughty Nanny 3” and “Lesbian Seductions 35,” on Saturday night. “He’s very polite and he’s such a gentleman. He wasn’t a creeper or anything,” Jones told 98.5 The Sports Hub‘s Toucher and Rich. “He wanted me to get him more Twitter followers.”

At the time, Gronkowski had 63,000 followers while Jones, who tweets under the handle xxxBiBiJones, had 110,000.

Jones says that she suggested taking photos together and Gronkowski obliged. She claims he added, “Wait, put on my jersey.”

The two posed for several images with Jones wearing nothing but Gronkowski’s #87 Patriots jersey. Gronkowski even took off his own shirt at one point. The images were taken in a bedroom, seeming to imply that the two had been intimate. Jones then posted the photos along with the words, “Follow my favorite football player … Getting hyped with @RobGronkowski ;)”

While Jones says she does often sleep with athletes, she holds that Gronkowski is not a notch on her bedpost. “Nothing happened. I wish something had, but nothing happened,” Jones said to The Sports Hub on Monday. “I asked him if I could put [the photos] on Twitter because some athletes wouldn’t want that since I do adult films, and they don’t want to be associated with that. He was really cool with it because I have more Twitter followers than him … I really, really, really wish it would have happened.”

For his part, Gronkowski said in an interview, “I didn’t intend anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft,” he said, referencing the team’s owner. “It’s just a simple picture, that’s all.”

He clarfied to The Sports Hub that he had apologized to Kraft directly. “I wasn’t asked to apologize to anyone,” he said. “I just saw Mr. Kraft in the hallway. We had a brief discussion and that’s all it was. [He said] just be careful, just always watch out.”

But Gronkowski resisted answering more questions about the ordeal. “From here on out, I’m just here to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers and the big game this weekend … That’s all I’m worried about. It’s all I care about.”
