Rudy Giuliani ‘positive’ on Bill de Blasio

Rudy Giuliani isn’t ready to criticize the incoming mayor just yet.

The former mayor — in a festive mood at the Christmas party thrown by author Jay McInerney, Jay’s wife Anne Hearst, and banker George Farias at Doubles — was asked if he was worried about what Bill de Blasio will do in City Hall.

“I’m endlessly positive,” Giuliani replied.

His wife Judith, wearing a big diamond ring on her right hand that Giuliani gave her for their 10th wedding anniversary, said they planned to spend Christmas with her family in Pennsylvania.

Another Republican, John Catsimatidis, when asked if he would ever run again for mayor, replied, “I’m hoping De Blasio will do a good job so I won’t have to.”

Anne Hearst’s daughter Amanda was chatting with artist Will Cotton, whose portrait of her hangs in her mom’s house in the Hamptons.
