Rihanna and Chris Brown record two suggestive songs together

Ill-fated exes Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together — a least in the studio.

Three years after a lovers’ quarrel turned physical, leaving Rihanna in the hospital and Brown pleading guilty to assault charges, the former couple has teamed up for two new remixes. While Rihanna lends her voice to Brown’s “Turn Up the Music,” the Barbadian pop star invited Brown to sing on her explicit track, “Birthday Cake.” The lyrics of both songs appear to imply that the two might have rekindled their romance.

On Brown’s dance track, Rihanna sings, “Turn up the music cause I feel a little turned on/ Turn on the music, don’t you try to turn me down.” She later proclaims “I love you, baby” and “You make me laugh” as she sings.

Meanwhile, on Rihanna’s randy song, Brown sings, “Girl I wanna [bleep] you right now. Been a long time. I’ve been missing your body. Let me turn the lights down. When the window go down, it’s a private party.”

The songs were released a day after Brown made his first public contact with Rihanna since being sentenced to six months of community service and five years of probation for assault charges stemming from the pair’s pre-Grammy Awards fight in 2009. An original order of protection had required Brown to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna, whose given name is Robyn Fenty, though a judge eased the restrictions last year in order to allow the two to both attend industry events.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!” Brown tweeted shortly after midnight on Monday to Rihanna.

The “We Found Love” singer retweeted the message, adding simply, “Thanks!”

Reports have also surfaced that Brown attended the singer’s birthday party last week, during which she received a cake in the shape of a marijuana-filled cigar.

While rumors have swirled in the past few weeks that Brown and Rihanna are once again romantically linked, Rihanna’s rep has had no comment on the reports. Meanwhile, Brown’s rep denied the whispers on Saturday, telling ABC News, “He and Rihanna are just friends. He is with his girlfriend, [model] Karrueche, and is not cheating.”
