Bar Refaeli plays tennis in her underwear

While many famous female tennis players go to great lengths to avoid revealing their undergarments, Israeli model Bar Refaeli has posed playing tennis in just her underthings to promote her new line of intimates, Under.Me.

In the images, Refaeli — best known for dating Leonardo DiCaprio and appearing on the cover of the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue — wears a simple cotton white bra and pair of boyshorts as she grips a black tennis racket on a court surrounded by lush greenery. Her blonde hair is pulled back into a high ponytail and she looks highly focused as she runs for the ball. It’s unclear who she is playing on the far side of the court.

GISELE BUNDCHEN COULD BECOME BILLIONAIRE OFF LINGERIE LINE

A website for the brand reads, “Under.Me is a new label of underwear for men and women, designed to simply fit, by Bar Refaeli.” It assures that the collection will be, “Coming really soon.”

Refaeli follows in the grand tradition of another Sports Illustrated cover girl Elle Macpherson, the first model to launch her own intimates collection in 1990. Gisele Bündchen also launched a line, Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimates, last May — though it is currently only available in Latin America, Portugal, Japan and Israel.

Refaeli recently explained her impetus for starting her own brand.

“The Under.me philosophy is that underwear should complement your body, not steal the show,” Refaeli said. “It was appealing to me to do a line of underwear from the fabric I like with the basic, comfy design I always look for.”
